JS-Foil Basin

Our JS-Foil Basin is a closed system with the opportunity to store slurry, polutted water, purified water, sludge, etc. This basin can be realized with or without a floating cover. To get a homogeneous liquid after a period of storage we can offer different systems to mix the contents of the JS-foil basin.

Implementation

The JS-foil basin is an excavated pit in the ground and the dykes are build of the soil left from the excavation. The depth of the pit depends on the groundwater level at the building location. JS-foil basins are made-to-measure and will be to your wishes and demands. In this way a JS-foil basin can be realized almost everywhere.

The bottom foil will be made of Nicoflex 800 HSPO (High Strength Polyolefin), weight 970 gr/m² and the material used for the floating cover will be Nicoflex 1000 HSPO, weight 1130 gr/m². The Nicoflex foil is a LDPE (Low Density Polyethylene) foil reinforced with a polyester net.

This gives our foil the unique characteristics of being very strong, very UV-resistant and very flexible. Even at -40°C.  In consultation with the customer the JS-foil basin can also be assembled with other kinds of foil like PVC or EPDM.

The discharge- and feedstation will be produced with high quality materials. And will be made according the customers wishes and needs.

Mixing

For mixing our JS-foil basin we have 3 possibilities:

  • JS-basin mixer (stainless steel frame), especially designed for mixing foil basins. Capacity: 3250 m³/hr.
  • Mixing hatch, through which can be mixed with the use of a tractor or a crane.
  • Up to volumes of 700m³ we can mix with a circulation system by means of nozzles and a pump.

The JS-foil basin is provided with the Dutch KOMO/KIWA certificate under number K14432 and the German DIBt under number Z-59.2-301. The basin with optional floating cover has a reference period of 10 years and fully satisfies all the demands of the Dutch Construction guidelines and the German DIBt guidelines for manure silos.
